Soon after the FCC's decision to postpone the 1:1 rule, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit struck it down, ruling the FCC exceeded its authority. As a result, the rule will not take effect. However, our customers still need to have prior express written consent as defined by the FCC to text and to leave prerecorded voicemails. The ruling simply means that the rules have not changed and consent does not need to be 1:1.
