Voicemail Drop

Voicemail drop (or voicemail automation, as it is also known) is a feature available with certain dialers or call center software that allows agents to leave a voicemail with a click of a button. When the agent knows a voicemail has been reached, he or she can select a pre-recorded voicemail message. The software “listens” to the recipients recording, waits for the beep, and drops the voicemail at the appropriate time.

Voicemail drop eliminates the need for inside sales professionals to repeat the same message over and over, and can save upwards of 45 seconds per call. Considering up to 70% of calls go to voicemail, the time-savings can be very significant across an outbound sales team.
