What is a Sales Pipeline?
A sales pipeline is an organized representation of your prospects and where they currently reside within your sales cycle. This visualization helps sales teams manage the prospects they are working with, keep them moving them from one stage to the next, and assess the overall health and value of the sales channel.
In some cases, a CRM will offer a “sales pipeline view” which displays the stages of the sales cycle and a live account of which prospects fall into each one.
